Celebration of a 1st birthday!

Do you remember how you celebrated yours?! 😛 One of the most exciting birthday milestones!

I had such a great time visiting my in-laws in LA this past weekend, and celebrating the 1st birthday of my niece! Let the photos show, she is a DOLL!! I die of her cuteness. It was a short and sweet weekend getaway (the 6hr drive there and back was not my favorite); it is always great to see them. I took lots of pictures during the party, and it was great practice for me as lighting was constantly changing (inside to outside, in the bright sun to shadow). It helped me build my skill to become more aware of light and how to use it. I did forget to take my battery charger! lol Blah…but it lasted through the essential times! Here are a few pics from my visit in LA, and mostly of the lovely party. My sis-in-law did such a wonderful job decorating! She even made the cake!!

I miss them already! Hope you enjoyed your weekend as well!
